| 6409 | 2000-09-19 05:57:00 | I have a problem. I want to be able to play 3D games. I have just upgraded to an AMD K6-2 processor, with 3D now, 64 SD-RAM. I have not updated the old video card yet (need a bit more money). I have been told and have read, that most 3D cards (ie Matrox and Voodoo) do not work with AMD K6 chips, and that I am stuck with the old card. Is this true ? and is there anyone out there that knows for sure which 3D cards (if any) will work with these chips dying to play a round of Quake 3 Steve Marshall. |
