| 6472 | 2000-09-25 06:49:00 | a copy of an email i sent to ICQ...hope know one else experiences this.. I thought I would let you know, I downloaded the latest version of icq and it was fine until I rebooted my machine....All hell let loose..I am running Windows ME on an Intel 733 Pentium 3 machine. I could not load explore...kept getting an error message:symtray.exe at 0197:004022e9' and that I must reload windows..this did not work and I still kept getting the same message. I made no changes to my machine other than downloading ICQ 2000b and so I have uninstalled it and the problem has gone away. I know this is just a Beta version, but I thought you may like to know of my experience. Regards Jim PS: I think ICQ 2000a is just fine and I look forward to downloading a full finished version of 2000b in the near future. |
