| 6458 | 2000-09-24 09:42:00 | I want to dual boot the kids' old PC in order to run all their DOS and pre Win95 games. I have clean installed Win95 on the C: drive then installed Win 3.11 on another partition but in Win 3.11 there is no sound at all. In Win 95 there is. I have tried installing the Soundblaster 16 files on both partitions with no success. Does anyone know the solution please? Also, some DOS programs will not run as they need more memory (one wants 512 bytes, another needs 16,000 bytes). How do you get everything to 'load high'? Just about everything in the Autoexec.bat and Config.sys files are loaded high but it still says 'not enough memory'. Any ideas? |
