| 6449 | 2000-09-22 04:44:00 | Sir, A small problem which I hope you can solve? I have always used Netscape Navigator(now v4.7) as my browser and Eudora Pro for email. My Win 98 SE is installed in a somewhat cut-down version via that superb utility 98Lite Pro(with WIN 95 system files). Recently I found it necessary to install Internet Explorer v5.0 in order to view certain data archives on CD. I'm pleased to report that this has been, finally, achieved successfully without Explorer interfering with my normal use of Netscape and Eudora and Dial-Up Networking, but with one exception - when I click on a URL contained in an email, Explorer opens instead of Netscape!! How do I avoid this and get Netscape to open instead? I need IE to be available simply to read data CDs - I don't want it for any other purpose! Ray Osborn Rotorua, NZ |
