How can I find out who made my internal modem so I can download new firmware/drivers for it? In the Control Panel/Modem Properties, it says my modem is a 'Conexant SoftK56, Data, Fax, RTAM PCI Modem'. However, when I went to their site (www.conexant.com), and tried to download some drivers, it says that they do not make modems, but supply chips to the manufacturers. Then it gave a giant modem manufacturer list where I can download drivers, but I don't know which one my modem is! So how coulf I find out, without opening my computer up? And my modem does not have a box.
