| 6509 | 2000-09-27 23:33:00 | I have recently installed W2K Pro on a Win98 machine as a dual-boot. No probs. When I go to run W2k it starts loading gets half way and has an error 'inaccessible_boot_device' error Running W2k setup says a hard drive was not detected. Win98 works fine. The HD is on the supported list and MS states W2k has the drivers for this model. However, I am running UDMA66 which I suspect is the problem. I have checked for conflicts and boot sequence etc etc How can I install the W2k UDMA66 HD drivers if I can't get into safe mode first. Also how do I remove the W2k and dual-boot. |
