2011-11-14 06:12:00 | I guess everyone has seen it on TV or head about it. They say it is a game changer. So, does anyone have any theories? Or is all this some elaborate publicity stunt?

2011-11-14 06:15:00 | Or is all this some elaborate publicity stunt?I'm guessing this - publicity stunt by the paper, and possibly an attempt to swing the election a bit. There's no way to effectively rebut the claims without releasing the audio, and releasing the audio opens up a whole can of worms that should really be left closed (and essentially endorses the recording method). I personally think the HoS (and their cameraman) deserve to be on the wrong end of a lawsuit for this.

2011-11-14 06:39:00 | On the tv you see John Key handing a black pouch to someone ! So why was it left on the table for the duration of the chat ? I do think National should not have bothered with Act and hoped they would not need a coalition partner. This is just drawing more attention to these shenagagins.

So why was it left on the table for the duration of the chat ?I haven't seen the footage; I usually read my news. Do you have a link? I do think National should not have bothered with Act and hoped they would not need a coalition partner. They may not need one this time, but bear in mind that they'll almost certainly need at least one in 2014 - they're mighty short on potential allies, so allowing Act to disintegrate isn't exactly a smart idea. |

2011-11-14 07:12:00 | I'm pretty sure they didn't get that law passed, and the evidence in question has been deemed illegal. This election is going to be a train wreck, Labour will get **** all votes but all the scabby small parties will align with them to make up an incompetent government at the worst possible time. mana, maori, greens, labour, sickening.
