1243016 2011-11-11 05:06:00 Our friend Fool Goof is promising the Earth (with the moon thrown in for good measure) because he knows his party is not going to be placed in any position where it may be required to actually come through on those promises after 26 November. johcar (6283)

Well for a start, our tech-savvy reporter doesn't know stationary from stationery, and has constructed a sentence which now says the equivalent of "Mobile devices" are "stationary" (ie, non-mobile).

Maybe we should just stick to spending more dollars on face time with teachers, rather than blow money on the latest passing tech fad. Tech sure hasn't done this reporter any favours it would seem... unless you count getting a media job while lacking basic English lateracy skills a positive effect of technology.

1243020 2011-11-11 22:03:00 "Mobile devices are now part of the stationary requirements at some high-decile schools,” could simply reference the fact that kids are not allowed to use the tablets while moving, for health and safety reasons... :) MrRSoul (16583)
