| 1242760 | 2011-11-10 04:25:00 | Hi all PF1'ers, I've got a mate looking to buy a GSM phone, preferably under $80, cheaper the better All that is needed is txting and calling capability Long battery life, durability, torch, good reception, ease of use etc etc... would also be nice Was looking at the $33 samsung phone they have at DSE, one review said that some notification sounds could not be turned off, which is no good for my friend Also, some friends mentioned they had a Nokia 1616 that died after only 1 year So any recommendations? |

| 1242762 | 2011-11-10 05:55:00 | The $33 Samsung is a bargain. If you want to save $$, grab it. Some good reviews here (www.gsmarena.com). Of course it is not perfect - wade through the comments and if you can put up with a few negative points, go for it. |

| 1242767 | 2011-11-10 09:53:00 | I would say you should go for an iPhone because it has innumerable features that you would not find in any other phone. As far as the price is concerned, if you go for the iPhone deals not only do you get discounts but also many offers. Select the deal hat best suits your needs. :lol:You're recommending an iPhone to a person who wants a basic phone  | pcuser42 (130) | ||
