If you stick to just the Marketplace, it's just as secure as sticking to the App Store. Even with Apples vetting process, stuff still slips through from time to time. It's neither here nor there really, both are about as good as each other in terms of security. |

| 1267243 | 2012-03-28 20:26:00 | I think apple is more secure by virtue of being rigidly controlled by apple, but I doubt theres much of a difference in real terms. It also depends what you mean by secure, android being a much more open platform is probably easier to hack into but by the same token there are an army of developers able to work on fixing any problems. But if it's things like data security, or phone call privacy, etc I don't think either has a clear advantage. In the end if something is declared as being the most secure it's like issuing a challenge, someone will eventually find a way to break in. |

EDIT: Just read it again, it's the "Security concern", not "Actual devices pwnd"... It's a pretty silly article in that case if you ask me. |
