| 1266569 | 2012-03-23 13:06:00 | I get this error when sending mail using windows mail i believe the setting are all right . but the strange part is i have tested the email sending it to myself and it goes through but the error message still appears with every email i send any solutions to this . I'd use 587, authentication on.... However. Can be corruption in Outlook, or have you got a syntax error? Non-standard characters - spaces etc in anything? |

| 1266571 | 2012-03-23 20:41:00 | That error code means the SMTP mail server requires authentication and isn't getting it, the att.yahoo run from secure setting (SSL) The problem can be something not ticked correctly in the security setting. Have a read of answers.yahoo (answers.yahoo.com) The actual setting are advised in the first answer. |
