1242716	2011-11-10 01:54:00	Old matte xbox could get red ring, to solve this problem microsoft took the red lights out of the slim xbox, BAM! problem solved yells Steve Ballmer. But seriously the new slim one has a better cooling system and the gpu chip was moved onto the same board as the cpu (i have no idea how that solves a heat issue but hey it seems to work :D). That's the major difference. Oh and the old xbox has a more external HDD but that's about it.	icow (15313)
1242717	2011-11-10 06:08:00	in the new slim Xbox shape ( the Xbox360S ), the original shipments were a 4gb matte model and a 250gb glossy model, recently microsoft made a change whereby both the 4gb and the 250gb are now matte black and I believe the 250gb is being replaced by a 320gb model	lagbort (5041)
1242718	2011-11-10 08:49:00	As far as components go in the slim the HANA chip has been "removed" as far as I can tell and that means so far the new RGH wont work on it (if that's your thing) other than that the only difference is a different motherboard revision called Corona. In both slims the GPU/CPU are on one die. The Matte one does not pick up fingerprints either. I seem to recall something else about them but I cant remember so Basically its fingerprints and no RGH so far (maybe ever)	The Error Guy (14052)
