I have a Xerox D620 printer with a lifetime supply of single-strike ribbons which I want to use with W98 and either Corel Wordperfect8 or AmiPro V3. Both these WP systems offer means of inserting a code at the start of a file that will manipulate the printer's built-in functions, but all attempts to construct one in either system that will deliver the code have failed. The code I need to send is ESC ETB A. I have tried enclosing letters in quotes, brackets and everything else I can think of, but nothing works. I have had no joy with Corel website as I am not very competent on the web and keep getting a brush-off. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
