| 6635 | 2000-10-09 06:06:00 | My CDROM drive does not recognize both the Sept and Oct PCWorld magazines CDROMS. It tries feebly to read them and fails. I get 'F:\ is not accessible, The drive is not ready'. BUT, it reads June's no problem and all of my other CD's: software, games and musical with nary a hitch. HOWEVER, my mothers old 100Mhz Aptiva has no problem with Sept and Oct. My system info says my CD drive is a LITEON CD-ROM LTN301 (32xmax). My mother's is an older 16xmax. Any thoughts? |
