| 6722 | 2000-10-14 23:25:00 | I recently installed Internet Explorer 5.5 using the free CD from the September issue. Bad mistake! Normally opening Explorer or Outlook Express automatically connects me to my default ISP. It works for Explorer and initially did for Outlook Express a few times but then Express simply locked up, again and again without the connection box coming up. I reinstalled IE 5.5 both from the CD as well as downloading from the Microsoft site to no avail. The only solution is to manually connect to my ISP first and then open Outlook Express. (This ISP is clearly designated as my default and it's ticked to automataically open.) Any suggestions on how to overcome this? |
