6715 2000-10-14 21:52:00 Hi. I've registered a domain with the name of a very prominent international company. I am creating a web page with discussions and commentaries on this company and it's products. I've heard of legal precedent in UK, USA and Aus where firms and individuals have successfully sued to obtain their names back from cybersquatters.

My question is... does anyone know of such a precedent in NZ law, and would the fact that I can demonstrate an active interest in the name (ie my website) be sufficient for me to withstand having it taken from me? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
