6765	2000-10-19 00:34:00	I have been trying to find out more about Encryption laws in New Zealand. Specifically I have found a site that I can download 160bit private encryption from as long as I tell them I'm an American, because they are not allowed to export from the USA. However, If I do download, is there anything they can do about it?? What laws exist in New Zealand against Importing of such things? Do we have an aggrement with the US that no Kiwi will Import such encryption or if they did would they be prosecuted?	Guest (0)
