| 6766 | 2000-10-18 23:51:00 | I have: - MVP4 motherboard - AMD K6-2 350MHz - Western Digital 10GB HDD - Quantum 1.7MB Sirrico HDD The problem: My primary IDE master is the WD, primary slave is the Quantum. The WD HDD gives 'disk write' errors in this configuration. But when I put the Quantum HDD on the secondary IDE, no problems. (???) No bad sectors either. Any help appreciated. |
