| 6847 | 2000-10-27 02:41:00 | Peter. Thanks for the reply.Unfortunately my Options/Advanced section does NOT contain the phrase'JIT compiler for virtual machines enabled.' My copy of IE5.01 was obtained on CDRom from PC@Authority (Australia). I think I did a custom install-would I have missed out something? (In my IE registry/main the notation says 'No JIT setup' followed by all zeroes.It is also coloured blue-other entries are brown.Amny significance?) Anyhow,I can live without JIT at the moment.It is just annoying that MS material likes behaving this way!!! Graham |
