| 6838 | 2000-10-26 03:41:00 | I have just started buying your PC world magazine and have found it very helpful. Your magazine has increased my knowledge of computers greatly. In this months magazine ( october issue ), I was reading the answer line section page 107. Its about how to get your PC to boot faster. You mention, 'find start up programmes, select start. Run, type msconfig, and press <enter>. This takes you to windows 98 system configuration utility'. I followed your instructions, but it did not take me to system configuration utility window. Instead it said.. cannot find the file 'msconfig' (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are avaliable. Are you able to help me? Have I done something wrong or is there something wrong with my computer? Thankyou Jacques Li |
