| 6879 | 2000-10-29 12:06:00 | I'm struggling to network my two W98SE machines together. The network card in each seems successfully installed, and they're connected with a crossover cable. The problem is that although when I open Network Neighborhood I see both machines correctly named, double-clicking on either produces an empty Explorer window. Attempting to map to a folder on the other machine fails, with a message that the computer or sharename cannot be found. It seems that each pc can see the other's name, but nothing else. Thnaks for any help. |
