| 6902 | 2000-10-31 04:04:00 | I've got Internet Connection Sharing working on two PC's. The problem is when click 'send and recv' in Outlook Express the client 'times out' before the host dials the internet connection. In the same way, when I start IE it times out before the modem connection is complete, and thus an error message is displayed. Microsoft resolution for the latter is '....resend the Internet request. To do this, press F5...' - Thanks Bill, but there must be a way of extending the 'timeout' period in the registry ? TIA. |
