| 6938 | 2000-11-03 01:33:00 | At least once a day when I try to print I get a message that says ,in effect, that the computer can not communicate with the printer. If I remove the printer port and then allow Win98se to 'find' new hardware the printer works and will keep on working until I turn it off. Next time I try to print, same thing. Printer is an HP710c and drivers etc are installed from the HP set up disk. I have reformatted hard drive and reinstalled Windows etc. twice. I have added a brand new cable and printer peforms self test. I have only 1 LPT port and indications are that it is OK. Anyone got any bright ideas? Jack |
