Recently bought a HP640c printer, after re installing with new drivers from HP, it still is very slow, especially when you go to page setup to change the margins etc, this happens in word and works. Did not have this problem with old 520, HP says the problem is with my hard drive, but another friend is aso having same problem and he has a 12 gb hard drive. I have a pentium 120 with 6.4 gb hard drive and 64mb ram. Tried other printers and they work fine. Also it takes ages for the initial print to start. Has anyone any ideas on how to fix this or do I have to live with it. |
