I upgraded to win2k and went through the process of updating modem drivers etc, and until last week I've had no problems connecting to the internet. From last week the problems I've been experiencing are as follows: 1.after the connection has been made the verification of user name and password sequence halts, and eventually i get disconnected (timed out). 2. If i've connected to the net and then disconnected the only way i can reconnect is by restarting windows. As i am connecyted through Xtra, i phoned them, but they don't support win2k. Hardware is AMD k62-300 with 96MB ram. dynalink 56k modem (internal). I've deleted and reloaded modem and dial up connections to no avail. Any suggestions other than jetstream/ISDN??? |
