Can you tell me how the Windows default printer setting is supposed to work? I have two printers connected - a laser for black-only printing and an inkjet for colour work. I have one of them set as the default printer. If I select the 'other' printer it remains set to that printer for all subsequent work until I change it back. This is fine, but if I shut down and start up next day should it not revert to the default printer? Mine doesn't. What's the point of having a default printer if it doesn't default to that printer on bootup.
I have Win98-SE. The same problem was present in Win95. |
