7071 2000-11-11 09:03:00 I have two excel workbooks.
'Database.xls' & 'Cashbook.xls'
I have run two macros for 'Database' and one macro for 'Cashbook' and they all work very well.
I have created two new toolbars named 'Database macro' and 'Cashbook macro'
and have assigned buttons to each new toolbar to run each of the macros.
My problem is that the workbooks are used at work by our sales staff on a small network and they have been known to press the wrong button in the wrong worksheet with obvious consequences.
When I open either of the workbooks both toolbars appear, how can I open Cashbook with only the Cashbook macro toolbar appearing and similarly how can I open Database and only have the database toolbar open. I know I can close either or by customising the toolbars but it is quite a hassle for the girls and if one of them want to open the other work book on another machine they must activate the relevant toolbar that the other operator has just closed down and therefore re-activating the macro tool bar on the original machine.
I hope I make sense, and any help would be appreciated, Also does anyone know of a good tutorial program or an advanced excell book. I have excell for dummies but I have outgrown it and would like to learn more .
Thankyou
