| 7092 | 2000-11-14 04:57:00 | Can you tell .me what the '_RESTORE' directory on the C: drive is for and how to delete files from it. When installing new software I use REMOVE-IT and not that some times files are written to this directory. However, when I un-install these programs, the files that were written to '_RESTORE' are NOT deleted and when I try to delete them using Explorer or ZTREEWIN I can not, 'ACCESS IS DENIED' If this keeps up a lot of disk space will be wasted. I assume that this directory is important and that care will be require when deleting files. A solution would be appreciated. |
