| 1268359 | 2012-04-04 09:16:00 | Want a desk top at least 4gb ram, 1TB HDD, reasonable graphics card and 24" monitor. Window 7 OS. I live in Western Auckers was just going to go to PB tech where I bought a laptop a couple of years ago and grab something. But wife said that's no due diligence what ever that means. That was plan B, Plan A turned to ****, plan A was get my computer angel to build one but she is now a locksmith! **** me. Anyone know any good deal with a reputable firm around Auckers but not South Auckland I dont go there. Thanks for any help. |

Your wife means you just bought a laptop, lucky you didn't end up with some fight with them about it, so you can't comment on good or bad service.... and therefore it's not a reason to go back there. |

Well laptop was good deal, it did have an issue off overheating about 2 weeks before end of warranty. When I rung PB they said np take it to a repairer in Penrose who fixed it. It was overheating because my boy was on stalkbook in the early hours of the morning with the laptop in bed and it was sucking in lint. How did I know he was on stalkbook in the early hours? The repairer control h Chrome and there it was www.stalkbook.com at 0230 hrs lol. |

| 1268368 | 2012-04-06 08:48:00 | I'd be very careful when dealing with Computer Lounge. Mostly, their service is very good, but it can also be really bad. I recently ordered a WD live hub off them and they charged my credit card as soon as I ordered. A few days later I still had heard nothing and I had to email them. As it turns out they couldn't get the WD media hub and had put it on back order. This was not their fault, of course. One month on and they finally email me to tell me that Western Digital is no longer making the media hub and that they would offer me another deal. I declined the other offer and asked for a refund and, as yet, they haven't bothered to reply. I'm guessing that I'm going to have to pay them a visit when I am in Auckland next week to ask them why they have not replied to my email asking for a refund. I won't be using these guys again. It's such a shame as I was all ready to buy a custom made system off them in a few weeks. |
