1268319 2012-04-04 09:05:00 Sorry haven't asked a question for at least a week so I've got to pick your brains again. Have replaced the thomson from telecom with the above so now I'm wondering how to I set it for the best preformance for wireless. Should I just leave it as factory set up or ?. As before I'm only learning so dont be too hard. :) Clod (7853)
1268320 2012-04-04 10:07:00 Mostly the default settings are fine. You can get a wifi-scanner to analyze for nearby networks and pick a channel with the least amount of 'noise' on it if you like, but otherwise they're pretty darn good right outta the box! :) Chilling_Silence (9)

Run inssider (www.metageek.net) on your laptop or Wifi Analyzer (play.google.com XJwcm9jLndpZmkuYW5hbHl6ZXIiXQ..) on your Android phone and look for Channel Chatter. Pick the least populated one. You should only select Channel 1, 6 or 11. Don't use any other channels as they are not for Wi-Fi use as per specification.
