Ive been having problems with my computer lately. It runs really slow and i dont know if its a virus or what the problem is. I ran malwarebytes, defragged, and ran a ccleaner and it still seems slow. Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be the problem? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank You. |

Scan it with a virus scanner. Post a hijackthis log. Or install teamviewer on it. I can have a look if you like. If you install it, give the ID and password it gives you to me in a PM. So, I can log in |

Ram maybe one reason. 512mb. Nortons was also on it, I've removed it. And installed MSSE on it. MSSE has found something. Will have to wait for it to finish. To see what malware its picked up. That maybe another reason why its slow |

Once you've cleaned it out, still slow? Yes? Reinstall Windows from scratch, after a while the bloat the accumulates needs removing, and all the cleaners in the world won't help, they err on the side of safety and leave most of it. |
