Had to laugh at the concept, however, it wouldn't work. As we know, sh't won't stick to politicians, and all the sh't comes out their mouths anyway.

As for the original product... wonder how well it would last on a windscreen? Sometimes beading and run off is good. Other times you want the opposite effect, a phyrophillic surface that flattens out the raindrops.
