But that webpage says Telecom has a 3GB - 5GB as a $75 which is the cheapest (with phoneline). Home Starter it is called. Still on the pricey side when compared to other offers and there is a $99 connection fee if you don't sign a 12 month contract. Double ups are good for high usage customers though ... So how does this compare with the new Telstra plan which gives 80Gb for $75 still seems telecom are over charging compared to other companies. Still I can't complain our BB and phone are free but don't know for how much longer We only use about 20-30GB 'usually'. That puts us not so much in the high usage group. So just looking at that webpage, it appears Telecom cost $85 (Home Lite) for a 40GB cap from May 2012 while Telstraclear is $75 and I get 2 months for free. Both have contracts to avoid the connection fee and both gets a free modem, thou a few might argue the modem provided by Telstraclear is better. But hey did you say Telstra is 80GB? I thought it was 40GB? |

The 120GB (previously 60GB) plan at only $105 is probably the most cost effective. |
