| 1244044 | 2011-11-17 21:14:00 | Yeah I was probably meaning "optional phoneline" that - there is nDSL which is approx $20/mo on top of your BB plan. Telstra cable is one of the option at least the more expensive plans that allows you to just pay the BB and not a cent for a phoneline. And I guess a few people may just use 3G internet as their main connection ...... For us having a standard phoneline - VOIP does not eat into our data. Some of people are not that computer literate and we didn't have to upgrade our phones or at least get a converter thingy for the couple of standard phones that we have. We cannot get Telstra cable, and with nDSL we need to pay ~ $20/mo anyway. |
