1268393 2012-04-05 04:49:00 500 series cards are having problems with drivers. It has been happening with my new gtx 560 TI card. What happens is your screen will go black or pink for a few seconds and when it comes back on a message appears in the bottom right hand corner saying something like Nvidia driver has recovered. It seems to happen when browsing the internet. Lots of people get it happening when they are watching a Youtube video. I have had it happen once when watching a Youtube video. It is sort of random. I have had it happen just by clicking on a link on a web page or just changing pages. Read more here (forums.nvidia.com) on Nvidias forum. As of yet Nvidia have not responded. I have the latest drivers. Doesn't seem to happen for me while playing games.

1268394 2012-04-05 05:18:00 I was having a similar problem after installing a new GTX560 card.
Hasn't done it again since updating the monitor driver.
Seems to be a few problems with the 500 series cards.
Stuttering graphics in some games being another.

Nvidia do not have these issues, it is purely your imagination.

1268396 2012-04-05 05:52:00 Had a read of the link - what a bunch of bitching twits. As it was pointed out, there appears to be a problem with newer drivers and adobe flash -- having the newest drivers is not always the best option - old story dont fix it if it aint broken -- sometimes its actually better to use the older drivers.

Lots of people bitching, but only one real sensible answer :groan:

1268397 2012-04-05 05:58:00 Had similar problems on my machine, eventually turned to be faulty RAM, Had 4x2GB sticks and one pair was causing the problem. tmrafi (5179)
1268398 2012-04-05 07:42:00 I was about to suggest it might be related to the latest Flash upgrade, but Speedy beat me to it (he's got that name for a good reason).

I recently allowed Flash to update, and within a day of doing so my browser was reporting the Flash plugin had failed.

This latest version of Flash is unstable, and at a guess is the culprit with all this bull. Don't go changing the drivers for your GPU if you are having problems, coz the culprit is probably elsewhere!
