1244323 2011-11-18 19:58:00 Its going to get worse before it gets better, much worse with prices increasing almost daily.

On my quotes now, I put a message quite simply saying the price quoted is only good for 24hours. The reason for that is the HDD's.
Classic example gave a quote last Friday, by midday Monday the drive (my buy price) had gone up by $38. The person came back on Thursday this week and had to be informed of the price increase. Wasn't happy about it, but I'm not losing money.

1244328 2011-11-18 23:14:00 HP, Dell, Acer etc. will probably get as many drives as they want & the parts wholesalers will be forced to fight over the scraps. It will be interesting to see if the big brands increase the price of their PCs - HP haven't increased their prices yet & I haven't looked into the other brands. Greven (91)
