Not to detract from the revulsion most will feel about the latest killing, it would seem we may be at risk of being known as a nation of killers. From the police site minutes ago, although it hasn't been labelled a homicide so far: Police investigate death Short description: Police investigate death Full description: MEDIA RELEASE Death Investigation; Waitakere Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 21 year old Security Guard who was found dead on a Construction Site in Henderson overnight. Detective Senior Sergeant Stan Brown of the Waitakere Criminal Investigation Branch stated "It is too early to tell what lead to the death of this man." Police are appealing for anyone near the area of the construction site of the new motorway over bridge at the corner Selwood Road and The Concourse, Henderson to contact the police on 09-8390653 or Crimestoppers 0800 555111 -www.crimestoppers-nz.org. I joined the Motorway around 4:30pm today at Selwood Rd, and there were certainly many police in hi-vis vests to be seen. |

I'll be first to donate a bit of copper encased lead for when they find the b'stard that did it ... but it sounds like it may end up being like the little Nia Glassie case ... the people involved will just stay dumb and say nothing. I just hope that there's forensic evidence or that someone with a conscience comes forward to make sure someone pays for this. Makes me extremely sick in the stomach and angry that this sort of thing can happen in NZ. |

Just charge the parents/guardians with murder and the rest of the family as accessories to murder. If the whole family faced a long time in prison, or a firing squad, they would soon talk. |
