| 7197 | 2000-11-24 08:44:00 | This has probably cropped up before, but I'm trying to combine conditional formatting with custom number formats in Excel. If I enter a number less than 100000 eg 40107, I would like it to display as 401-07 (the number will never be less than 10000), ie always with three digits to the left. For numbers greater than 100000 eg 450395 I would like it to display as 450-395, with Excel automatically deciding which format to use. |
