Got feed up with Win95 and took the plunge. Everything seems okay except it does not recognise the USB ports. When asked to look for new hardware it says I have a PCI-USB card installed and then promptly loads the drivers and on checking system device it has the dreaded yellow circle with the exclamation mark. It says that it has a code 10 error. The USB was working fine on the Win95 and I checked the bios and it says the onboard USB chip is enabled. This is rather frustrating although I am only running a 5200c HP scanner at present and share the LPT1 port with the printer. Not a long term fix. |
