7331	2000-12-01 03:39:00	My number formats in Excel for negative figures are - -1234.56 1234.56 (in red) -1234.56 (same as the first), and -1234.56 (in red) Another person's system gives the last two options as (1234.56) and (1234.56) in red. How can I get my computer to provide the 2nd option? I can use 'Custom' but any custom format disappears when the spreadsheet is closed. The other computer provides the bracketed options for 'number' and 'accounting' and they come up every time Can I change the built in format, or copy some file from the other computer?	Guest (0)
