| 7372 | 2000-12-04 03:10:00 | hi, It dosent seem to be my season! I started my laptop the other day, which i am running win98se on togther with toshiba laptop software on - this is all loaded in the C: partition (all the data in another) and i found that a))) windows explorer shows that there are no drive contents - unless i select 'view' - 'list' instead of the 'details' which i previously had it set at - i have to do this for every subsquent folder i open. I am reluctent to renistall windows as this is one of those great 'modern Pc's ' that only comes with a 'recovery disk' b) after many restarts to see if the promblem cures i note that the windows font size has also been reduced, as well as intermittently windows failing to respond( uncharacteristic) despite the mouse still being active?? great christmas present but i dont want it - any ideas? |
