| 7433 | 2000-12-07 23:25:00 | There appears to be a problem with your latest CD DEC/JAN 2001. It refuses to complete the installation of IE 5.5 in WIN 98 with IE 5.0 - 'Some files could not be installed' - including the 5.5 browser itself. Tried the previous month (NOV 2000) CD and it works OK. Additional comment: I was not happy that your latest Dec/Jan CD replaced my home page about:blank setting in the IE 5.0 with the pcworld.co.nz address during the failed atttempt to install the IE 5.5. Why would you do that ?? |
