I have a Dynalink internal ISA modem, m odel Voicecard56 Prov1456VQH-R ACFI. It connects with no problems, but every few minutes it stops sending or receiving for 40-60 seconds. It is very frustrating. I have tried new telephone cables, removing anything that may cause line static, a new ISP, disbling com ports that may be conflicting, changing flow control from hardware to software, just about everything. I have only had this problem since 'upgrading' to Windows ME. I tried a Dynalink External modem (V1456 VQE) and had the exact same problem. Dynalink is not aware of a problem according to their website FAQ's etc... I am about to try a modem from a new manufacturer, but though i'd see if anyone knew about this problem. HELP!!!!! |
