| 7534 | 2000-12-11 21:02:00 | I having problems getting Outlook 97 to run properly under Windows 2000 Professional. It will not run at all under a 'restricted user' account (formerly known as a 'user' account under NT 4). It will load OK under a 'standard user' account (formerly known as a 'power user' account under NT 4), BUT it then locks up when I attempt to send or retrieve internet e-mail. I installed it using the Administrator account in Windows 2000. And (with the help of SR-1) I got it to run OK in that account. I have looked on the Microsoft web site but found nothing helpful. I did not have these problems running it on NT 4 Workstation. Any suggestions ?? Anyone?? David McLachlan |
