| 7478 | 2000-12-10 10:25:00 | I've been trying to install IE5.5 from your December cover disc. I presently have Windows 95, along with IE5.01 and Outlook Express, running on a Pentium 166MMX. When I try installing IE5.5, using the custom download to include Outlook (as advised on the cover disc), it gets to the point of starting to install items, then comes up with a message telling me that although I have the correct installation files, the installation cannot procede. I've tried several times repeating the installation, including making more disc space (in case that was the problem) and re-booting the computer. No luck -the same message comes up at the same point each time! |
