7570	2000-12-13 04:07:00	I attempted to upgrade from Win98 to Me which was unsuccessful on several attempts despite upgrading the various drivers.Having uninstalled ME,Win 98 now freezes on the opening Win 98 logo screen.If I then reboot the start sequence goes from the Win 98 logo screen to a screen which offers a range of start up options including 'safe-mode' and' normal'.If I click 'normal' the start sequence completes its routine.Curiously the explorer icon was also lost in the process.Any suggestions as to returning the startup sequence to its proper state? I have a Gateway 450 performance computer with Netscape 4.73,win 98. Thanks	Guest (0)
