I have been advised by the makers of my Video/capture PCI card (Matrox) that the faults I am experiencing between the PCI and an AGP Video card are indicative of an IRQ conflict. Whilst trying to hunt down which IRQ?s were shared I found that viewing by IRQ in the Device Manager indicated that all 5 PCI devices share the IRQ 11! Most of the other PCI devices seem to operate without problem but the option to change any of them in the Device Manager is greyed out. There appears enough unused IRQ?s to provide each device with a unique one but how? |
