7622 2000-12-16 07:44:00 I have three pc's that I have networked together. One is running ME, the others Win 98. The switch recognises that all three network cards are connected and the cards are running at 100Mbs and full duplex (according to the LED's on the cards) . The IP addresses are sequential and the subnet mask and group name are the same on all the pc's.

However, only the pc running ME and one of the win 98 machines (both PIII's) will talk to each other.

On the other win 98 machine (a P100) everytime I double-click on 'entire network' in network neighborhood it comes up with 'Access to network denied - unable to browse network.

The card appears to be working correctly and I have reinstalled the drivers in any case.

As far as I can see the two win 98 pc's are setup the same.

Could my problems be due to software glitch and would it be worth while reinstalling win 98

HELP!
