My modem screeches horribly, but I can't use the tip on P. 134 of PC World December because I already have extra settings in the 'advanced' box.
I was having trouble logging on to my ISP (BTInternet in the UK) so its helpdesk talked me through and now my extra settings say 'AT&F+MS=V34'. Whatever that means, it works, and I connect first time. But Where/how can I add the ATM0 to make my modem shut up? I'm prone to logging on in the middle of the night and my neighbours will grow to hate me. Help! |
