7675	2000-12-20 08:57:00	I have taken the plunge and tried to connect my two PC's. One is a minitower into which I have put a 10mbps ethernet card, and the other a laptop with a PCMCIA ethernet card. I have a 3 metre twisted pair cable connecting the two. I have installed both cards using the windows plug and play set up and have matching Microsoft Client Network, adapters and protocola on each machine. I was told I did not need a hub with only two machines. The laptop finds itself on the network but the desktop does not. Its says there is no network. I have exhusted the help via Network troubleshooter and now am asking for comments and thoughts from those more skilled in network setups. Cheers Dave.	Guest (0)
